Class Descriptions:
Yin - A quiet, mindful practice where postures are held for 2-5 minutes for deep physical release in the connective tissues resulting in improved flexibility and strength and an increase in the flow of energy within the body. This class offers an opportunity for stillness and self-discovery, while challenging students to go to their edge within each pose.
Restorative Yoga & Reiki - This slow & easy practice focuses on releasing tension in the body through restful postures, allowing for deep relaxation and renewal for the body, mind, and soul. Blankets, bolster, pillows and blocks are used for support and to create maximum comfort & relaxation. Gentle soothing Reiki assists are given throughout the practice (optional). Pure bliss. This practice has been known to lower blood pressure and boost the immune system.
Gentle Hatha - A peaceful, slow-paced class that centers on mindful movement through a full range of postures, while honoring your unique body structure and practicing self-care. This gentle class works on restoring the body and mind to a strong, peaceful, happy state through stretching and balancing.
Yoga Nidra - Also known as "Sleep of the Yogi", this powerful healing practice of guided meditation provides a means of physical, mental, and emotional relaxation, as well as a powerful method of dissolving old patterns of thinking and habits that no longer serve you. This class will nourish every layer of your being and leave you feeling completely renewed.
